A name and a blessing

We finally blessed Hayes on May 3rd. I think the guys got a major arm workout because he isn't so itty bitty anymore. My dad blessed him and did a great job! Hayes behaved himself and didn't make a peep during the blessing. I was really nervous because he was wide awake. After church, everyone came over for a yummy lunch party. We really appreciated all our families' support, especially Curt and Britney who came all the way from Rexburg. Thanks for a great day!!

Tub time!

Hayes has officially outgrown the baby tub. Addy and Kasen have been waiting for this day and are very happy that he can now go in "the big tubby" with them. I'm not sure that Hayes will appreciate all the the splashing and screaming that goes on in the big tub, but he didn't seem to mind too much. This is the best picture I could get because Kasen could not sit still. Oh well, you get the idea...

Little brother= New best buddy

Ever since Hayes was born, Kasen has been totally infatuated with him. Any time I change his diaper he comes and lays by him so that they can talk. Kasen always talks to him in the highest voice and I think it is the cutest thing ever! He loves to give him hugs and kisses or even just hold his hand. I can't wait until Hayes is a little bit older and they can actually play together. I 'm sure they will be best buds!

1st place???

At the Fonty house, there are three easy steps to award winning beautiful easter eggs...The professional egg decorators were hard at work to ensure the highest quality colors and decorations. You too can make these eggs, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3!

Step one: Carefully crack each egg on the cupboard and drop into dye. Let it sit for one minute, grab it out, and drop it into another color.

Step 2- take them out and put them in the glitter bag, shake well and then apply glitter glue...

Step 3- Enjoy yourself as you pay special attention to every detail

If you follow these directions exactly, you will end up with award winning decorated eggs. Drum roll please....

PJ is a rockstar!

Eric's little brother PJ is quite the rockstar! His band, Crossfire, won the Utah high school battle of the bands this year. They won first place out of 200 bands in Utah and got to play at the Real Salt Lake game on Saturday. It was freezing cold, but we braved the weather to watch them play. It was so cool to watch them play! PJ plays the drums and did awesome! It was fun to hear him sing backup vocals and do cool spinning tricks with the drumsticks. Good job Crossfire- you guys rock!!

St. George

Last weekend we decided to make a trip to St. George with just us and the kids. We were a little (OK, a lot) scared about all sleeping in one hotel room together. The kids all did great! They did awesome on the drive- we made it clear to Cedar City before stopping. Addy and Kasen loved the hotel room and wanted to hang out there as much as possible. We went to the dinosaur museum, which the kids liked but we thought was pretty lame.

We went hiking at Red Cliffs and the kids had a great time....until Hayes had a blowout in the snugli. I started back to the car to change him and while I was gone both Addy and Kasen noticed all of the bugs and started to freak out. When they got back to the car Eric, Addy, and Kasen were all in tears. The kids were scared to death and Eric was laughing so hard at them. Overall, it was a lot of fun.

The most popular activity of the trip?? Swimming!! Our hotel had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool that were connected. The kids had a blast swimming and wanted to be at the pool the entire time. Kasen was hilarious! We bought him a life jacket because he is such a daredevil in the water. It was a good thing we did! He was swimming around the entire pool and was doing cannon balls off of the side. Addy did great also. She loved jumping in-as long as dad was there to catch her.

Overall, we had a really fun time in St. George. We had a good time spending time with just the fam. The kids were all awesome-especially Hayes. Maybe having three kids is not so bad...
